for appointment as a urse in the Tong Long
Vedical Department with salary at the rate of
110 rising ufter three ears service to
£130 per annum. Sterling salaries are payable
in the Colon in dollars at a rate of eachun:
fixed monthly by the Govemment and used on
the avera e exchange value of the dollur
during the month ending on the 15th day of
the month in respect of which the payment is
made. When, however, such avera e value
exceeds 2/- salaries we paid at 2/- to the
dollar.
